Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: It's better to travel to other countries when you are young than when you are older?
立场【Disagree】
A confluence [n. 融合,汇集the place where two rivers flow together and become one] of macroeconomic factors and changing business trends have led more visitors crowding to other countries. Some citizens begin thinking that young people are more suitable to visit foreign countries than oldercounterparts[地位相等的人,作用相同的物]. Personally, I tend to argue otherwise.[开门见山给出个人观点]
People who stand opposite me might argue that younger generation can reap benefits by exploring different cultures.[Topic sentence, 统领段落,注意不要出现过多细节] As the global middle class gets bigger, social media more ubiquitous, and travel cheaper, young adults start to play a crucial role in overseas travel. It seems that they indulge in the trip and have a good time in another country according to social website. In fact, they just roam [v. 漫游,闲逛, 多了闲庭信步的感觉] cities in foreign country and check in[打卡] at as many hot locations as possible within a single day. With such way of traveling, some young tourists also create 15-second videos to record their journey. [让步要及时收手] In this case, however, the real meaning behind the overseas travel has been neglected. Hardly can they remember to experience lifestyle or appreciate culture of a country. [否定含义副词提前,引起部分倒装,表强调] For most young adults, the aim of travel is just the video.
Instead, the older citizens with deeper understanding and richer experience of life can enjoy the journey comprehensively.

Abundant amount of money and less preoccupations at the later stage of people’s life can be another reason why older people are more suitable to travel to other countries. How to use money wisely is a rather perplexing [adj.复杂的,令人费解的;令人困惑的] issue. Many people cannot find answers to this question until an old age, meaning that people are more likely to form the habit of saving extra discretional money until reaching a later stage of their life. Conversely, juggling [尽量兼顾] several roles, the young are discouraged tosplurge on [v. 挥霍;浪费] foreign vacations. Given the fierce competition in modern society, the young spend their time and money on pursing utilitarian goals [功利主义追求]. That is to say, their time aredevoted to obtaining certificate or other physical attachments like mortgage, real estates, or other miscellaneous issues. In this case, how can people still be overly optimistic and even think that the youth can better enjoy a trip than older ones? [反问句收尾]
