Children are not, by nature, organized creatures, and an unorganized life is a hindrance to their life long development, as opposed to an orderly one. Hence, it is of vital importance to impart organizational skills to children who are 5 to 10 years old. As for the rest two virtues mentioned in the statement, sharing them with children of such age, compared with teaching them to be well organized, is less significant.
▲ Hindrance n. 造成妨碍的事物/人
▲ As opposed to 恰相反
It is beyond doubt that integrity is one of the crucial assets. However, is it necessary to consciously teach or learn such a virtue? As a matter of fact, different from organizational skills, honesty comes naturally. In other words, at an early age, as young as 7 or 9 years old, we are unlikely to lie, most likely because we don’t know how to lie. Indeed, children of such age may sometimes tell a fib like feigning illness to avoid exams. Parents or caregivers should however be aware that such innocent little lies may be attributed to the absence of organizational skills. After all, if those children are businesslike enough to make and carry on the review plans regularly, how could they be afraid of exams? And if they are well-organized and well-prepared, why should they malinger?
▲ Feign v. 假装,佯装
▲ Absence n. 缺失
▲ Businesslike adj. 井然有序的;效率高的
Typically, clutter and disorder in children’s surroundings contribute to feelings of irritation and depression. Influenced by such negative feeling, children may be prone to be demotivated, in which case they can too tardy to handle their own staffs, let alone reaching out to others in need. Hence, before trying to instill in children the virtues of helping others, we should primarily guide children to attend to their own affairs - to push children to lead organized lives as early as possible. It is also worth mentioning that the age of 5 to 10 is the opportune time to do it, as a good habit is better to be formed earlier than later, and children younger than 5 years old are too young to take care of themselves.
▲ Clutter n.杂乱
▲ Reach out to 伸出援助之手
▲ Instill in sb. Sth. 灌输xxx
▲ attend to 处理;照顾
▲ Opportune adj. 恰当的,适宜的
The habits of being organized is something that stays with children forever and has far-reaching benefits for them.

In conclusion, teaching children between 5 to 10 years old a few organizational skills early in life can benefit them immensely in the long run, and this makes the organizational skills outshine the other two virtues.
