每年的这个时候，国内外很多媒体就会发布盘点跨年好地方的文章，今年也不例外，很多国外媒体都发布了关于“Best way to spend New Year's Eve”的文章。
跨年比较地道的说法：
Spend New year's eve
Celebrate New Year’s Eve
Eve这个词是指day or evening before a religious festival or holiday也就是“节日和假日的前一天或前夕”。比如：
圣诞节前夕 Christmas Eve
大年三十儿 the Chinese new year's eve
举个例子：
Where are you going to celebrate New Year’s Eve?
你准备去哪里跨年？
I would love to spend New Year's Eve with you. 
我喜欢跟你一起跨年。
